ALEIA K. JACKSON OF EXECUTIVE FINANCIAL PLANNING RECEIVES HIGHEST HONOR FROM LIVINGSTON SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB
Award established to recognize Rotarians best exemplifying motto of "Service Above Self"
July 3, 2012 – (Brighton, MI) - Investment Advisor Aleia K. Jackson of Executive Wealth Management, LLC and Executive Financial Planning (EFP) of Brighton, MI recently received the highest honor bestowed upon Livingston Sunrise Rotarian. The “Rotarian of the Year” award “In recognition and sincere appreciation for your loyal service and unselfish dedication to the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club 2011-2012,” was awarded to Ms. Jackson last week in Brighton, MI., among her peers and fellow Rotarians. The not-for-profit corporation (501C3) is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better community and world.
“I am truly honored and humbled by such an extraordinary award from this great club of fellow Rotarians,” said Jackson from EFP offices in Brighton. “I will continue my dedication and service to the wide variety of community, vocational and international projects as a representative of the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club.”
Livingston Sunrise Rotary was chartered on July 1, 2004 as a Centennial Rotary Club. Unique to Livingston County as morning or ‘sunrise’ meetings are held as opposed to traditional lunch meetings, the Club chartered with 23 members, and has grown steadily to over 60 current members. The Foundation’s mission is to enable Rotarians and Friends of the Foundation to advance understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
The clubs major fundraiser, the Annual Rotary Duck Race, follows the Independence Day Parade on the Millpond in downtown Brighton July 4. Funds raised from this event underwrite the various that the club undertakes. Established in 2007, the Hungry Duck Run, precedes the parade and offer runners of all ages the opportunity to compete and raise both money and awareness concerning hunger in our community. This event is co sponsored by the club and Gleaners Community Food Bank, and funds the community and international projects the Foundation undertakes.
Currently an Investment Advisor Representative for both EFP and Executive Wealth Management, Ms. Jackson is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), with over $350 million in assets under management, and with affiliated offices in Brighton, Jackson, Plymouth, Troy, Grosse Pointe, Ann Arbor, Scottville, and Frankenmuth. Her mission is to assist individuals, families and organizations by providing personalized financial planning using disciplined, pro-active, risk-adjusted investment strategies for those in pursuit of their financial goals.
With depth of knowledge from all facets of the financial planning business, Ms. Jackson holds a BA in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, an Associates degree in Office Administration and a Certificate of Business from Davenport University. Series 7 Securities Registration, Series 65 Investment Advisory Registration, and 63 State Uniform Securities are among Ms. Jackson’s many professional designations and registrations.
Ms. Jackson is active in the Livingston County area with membership in the Howell Preferred Professionals BNI network, Livingston Interdisciplinary Professional Association (LIPA), Livingston County Association of Realtors (LCAR) and Livingston Sunrise Rotary. Aleia is involved in supporting American Red Cross, Gleaners Community Food Bank, Reaching Higher and participates in March of Dimes and Relay for Life walks. She is a member of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce.
