Jennifer L. (Woodard) Schons, age 38, of Novi, along with her sons, Tynan Schons, 6, and Camden Schons, 4, died on Jan. 14, 2011.
Jennifer was born June 14, 1972, in Winter Park, FL to Richard and Beverly Woodard. She graduated from Brighton High School in 1990, and received a Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. Jennifer received a Master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY. She was employed by General Motors in Flint, where she worked as a paint engineer.
Tynan Schons was born on Feb. 14, 2004 in Howell and was in first grade.
Camden Schons was also born in Howell on Aug. 24, 2006 and was attending preschool.
Surviving family includes: parents and grandparents, Richard and Beverly Woodard; brothers and uncles along with their families, Andrew (Heike) Woodard & Christopher (Kelly) Woodard, and Austin, Niklas, Landon, & Carlie Woodard; and in-laws and grandparents, Delmer and Denise Schons.
Also surviving are extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Brighton, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. today and 1 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
