As a part of the BP Fueling Communities Program, the Corrigan Oil Company nominated the Southeastern Livingston County Recreation Authority Foundation to receive a $10,000 grant, which was approved. 

The SELCRA Foundation will use the funds for youth scholarships, SELCRA programs and facility needs. 

The foundation would like to thank BP and Corrigan Oil BP station downtown Brighton (located at 204 W. Grand River Ave.) for their support of its mission to, “…promote healthy lifestyles in our community through the development and enhancement of parks, playgrounds, recreation facilities, programs and activities for all people of the Brighton area…..”

The BP Fueling Communities Program provides grants to local organizations to support the communities in which they do business. The program allows local marketers to support organizations that focus on health, education, and youth to spread charity and goodwill among neighbors in need.
