Best Thing We Ate This Week: Panera's Broccoli Cheddar Soup

After a long day in the cold, wet snow, a bowl of soup is just what the doctor ordered.

 

Though Brighton didn't get as much snow as the National Weather Service predicted, Friday was cold and wet.

So naturally, I thought the quickest way to warm up would be get something hot in my stomach. So I headed off to Panera Bread on Grand River Avenue to run by the drive-thru on my way home.

Panera's Broccoli Cheddar soup has long been one of my favorites and I decided to treat myself with a bowl for dinner. With chopped broccoli, bits of carrots and cheesy flavor, it goes down smooth and fills you right up.

It also goes a long way in driving away the chill of a cold, wintery day.
