Best Thing We Ate This Week: Salad at Outback Steakhouse

My husband and I chose to have our Valentine's Day dinner at Outback Steakhouse

 

As Valentine's Day rolled around this week, my husband and I decided to use one of our Christmas gift cards and have dinner at Outback Steakhouse.

The Outback has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time now, but not for it's steaks or Bloomin' Onion - for it's simple house salad. I cannot get enough of the restaurant chain's house dressing, a mustard vinaigrette.

My husband often makes fun of me, asking "who goes to a steakhouse for a salad?" Well... I do!

We both enjoyed a great meal. My husband ordered a loaded baked potato while I gave up my potato option in favor of broccoli to suit my newly imposed diet.

I also had to pass on the delicious pre-dinner bread, but the salad made it all worthwhile.

Outback is my favorite steakhouse too. Their salad dressings are so good because they make them homemade. No bottled dressing shipped on a truck! I love that.
