Brighton Recognizes Spring Athletes as Shining Stars

The Board of Education congratulated student athletes who reached state finals.

 

Brighton High School Athletic Director John Thompson honored student-athletes who reached the state tournaments or wona Michigan High School Athletics Assocation (MHSAA) Championship in their respective sports this spring with Shining Star Awards at the Board of Education meeting Monday night.

Shining Star awards are given to students and staff in recognition of achievement within the school district.

After being honored for the their accomplishments, the athletes were congratulated by board members for their success.
