Brighton Schools Close Monday Due to Wintry Weather

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through 6 a.m. Monday.

 

Brighton Area Schools will be closed Monday due to a mixture of snow and ice that hit southeastern Michigan Sunday night. All school activities and events are cancelled. 

FlexTech High, Hartland Consolidated Schools, Livingston ESA, Howell Public Schools, Pinckney Community Schools, St. Mary School-Pinckney and Kensington Woods High will also be closed.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory, in effect until 6 a.m. Monday. According to the NWS, ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are possible, mainly on elevated surfaces. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will be possible in some areas, including Brighton.
