Brighton Under Winter Storm Watch

Ready for more snow?

 

Forecasts call for between 2 and 4 inches in Brighton starting Thursday afternoon. According to a hazardous weather outlook and winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service, a strengthening low pressure system will move into the southern Great Lakes region on Thursday.

The heaviest snow is expected Thursday evening, according to the weather statement. Total snowfall accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are possible. Visibilities under one quarter mile will be possible Thursday night.

Roads may become snow covered and slipperty, affecting the morning commute on Friday.

The high temperature is predicted to be 31 degrees on Thursday.
