Condolences to his family and friends, but is it appropriate for a published tribute video, in a newspaper, to include images of this young man and his friends "flipping the bird"? It just seems very disrespectful to those who may take the time to view it.

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your question. That is something we considered before sharing this video. … We decided to for a few reasons — we were approached by someone very close to the family who wanted us to run it. … Two, the level of interest in Jeremy's story is quite high and we think by sharing it's more of a positive rather than negative … Three, although I think someone could take it the way you did and I respect that view, I think the context is these are pictures of Jeremy and his girlfriend having fun being themselves, not directed to a viewer in this regard …
Sincerely,
- Chris

Those who view it should be far more bothered that this young man has passed away and a bit less concerned about some photographs of him and those with whom he shared his amazing life being silly.
