1. The weather

Today will be cloudy, with a 80 percent chance of showers before 11 a.m., and a high near 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 45 degrees.

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Thursday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Garage Sale

There will be a garage sale today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Woodland Hills subdivision, at 8948 S Christine Dr. Household items, home decor, baby and toddler toys, hardcover and paperback books, miscellaneous other surprises!

4. Cinderella's Closet
