Every Tuesday and Thursday, Brighton Patch will post a snapshot of something from around Brighton. Readers are asked to guess the location of where the picture was taken. It will be like a virtual tour guide of Brighton.
1. The weather
Today will be cloudy, with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and a high near 85 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly clear, with a low around 60 degrees.
2. Gasoline prices
Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Wednesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:
- Costco, 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd: $3.63
- CITGO (Dandy Oil), 1050 E Grand River: $3.63
- Sunoco, 602 W Grand River Ave: $3.66
3. Garage Sale
There will be a Garage Sale with tons of kids, clothing, toys, and general neccesities today at 535 Glenwyth Rd. Stuff is in great shape and priced to sell!
4. Art at the Mill Pond
Art at the Mill Pond will run tonight from 6-9 p.m. next to the COBACH Center. Stop by and meet members of the Brighton Art Guild.

Coney Joes, I remember because I was dissapointed in the food. Being served french fries in a hot dog paper holder, and the overall price I paid seemed a little excessive.

Yes Coney Joe's is correct. I really enjoyed their chili fries and thought prices were pretty fair. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
