1. The weather

Today will be sunny, with a high near 85 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 61 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Thursday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Garage Sale

There will be a garage sale today at 119 N 4th St beginning at 8:30 a.m. There will be household items, furniture, childrens toys, books, comic books and outdoor/yard items.

4. Open Mic Night

Fenton Winery and Brewery will host an Open Mic Night tonight from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Musicians, please note performers must be 18 or older and that these are acoustic-only performances. A sound system and several microphones will be available. Note that no poetry, gospel, readings or heavy metal will be performed.
