1. The weather
Today will be partly sunny with a high near 35 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 23 degrees.
2. Gasoline prices

3. Principal Shopping District Meeting
The Principal Shopping District (PSD) will meet today at 7:30 a.m. at Brighton City Hall. The PSD will review Farmington Hills’ welcome packet and discuss suggestions for similar materials for new businesses in Brighton.
4. 10th Annual Deck the Halls
LACASA will celebrate it's 10th Annual Deck the Halls black tie gala event tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Bright Star of Brighton/Howell. The event benefits LACASA, a nonprofit organization that provides help, hope and critical resources for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. The night will include hors d'oeuvres, chilled libations and sizzling entertainment. Tickets cost $75.
