The Michigan Challenge Balloonfest will close out its 28th year on Sunday when all 44 pilots take to the air during competition between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. then again for the final launch between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The event takes place at the Howell High School Complex at 1200 W. Grand River Ave. in Howell. Parking at the event costs $12 for the day.
