In an area where there are many dirt roads that twist and turn I am astounded at the number of walkers/runners, often wearing ear buds, who do not face traffic during their walk/run. This morning, even after touching the horn, the woman (wearing ear-buds) running with her back to the cars, was still drifting into the center of the road. Is it a matter of poor survival instincts or ignorance of the danger of such behavior?
