Locally owned and operated businesses make up the majority of small businesses in Brighton. Why not show you appreciate shopping local by reviewing a business on Brighton Patch.

Patch reader Elaine Godlewski wrote this about the Brighton Center for Performing Arts after giving the business five-out-of-five stars:

"Affordable pricing for nationally known entertainers. All right here in the county - no more driving to Detroit for a top-notch show!"

It's super easy to review a business.

Here are the steps:

1. Log in to Brighton Patch, if you don't already have an account, just click "Sign Up," in the upper right-hand corner of the page to set one up.
2. Click "Directory" on the menu bar and then search for the business you want to rate or click through hundreds of businesses -- you're bound to find one you know.
3. Click the "Rate This Business" link at the top of the business' listing page.
4. Decide how many stars the business has earned and leave a comment justifying your rating. (Yes, "Best wings EVER!" is an acceptable justification.)
5. Click "Review It!"

There is no limit to how many businesses you can review. The more reviews people provide, the more informed consumers will be.
