Take the worry out of planning your next meal. Join us at the Brighton District Library for “Cooking with Chef Cathy” Tuesday, February 12 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Join personal chef Cathy Ferrara, owner of Supper Made Simple, who will show you how to make every meal a simple pleasure by using fresh vegetables, berries and grains.
Chef Cathy will prepare quick recipes for taste testing including quinoa, an ancient grain high in protein and an alternative to potatoes and rice, and provide culinary tips about food and cooking.
A premiere member of the United States Personal Chef Association(USPCA), Chef Cathy offers cooking classes and finds sharing her love of food and cooking rewarding. “I believe cooking is my gift. It is truly my passion. I am happiest when I am in the kitchen. Cooking does light a fire within my heart,” said Ferrara.
Her customized approach always uses fresh, preservative-free foods. Ferrara’s goal is to take the guess work out of meal planning, allowing people more time in their busy lives.
Whether its comfort food, an elegant meal for two, a menu for a weight loss program, or a special occasion such as a graduation, retirement or birthday, Chef Cathy has planned it and can help you. Her services include custom menu creation, meal planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation and containers. Visit Chef Cathy at www.smspersonalchefby.us/ or contact her at 810-923-6588.
