1. BOOK SIGNING FOR LOCAL AUTHOR
Where/when: Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Why go: Meet local author Amy Ackley’s and get a signed copy of her debut young adult novel, Sign Language, released this month by Viking Juvenile (Penguin USA). It won the first Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award for Young Adult Fiction this year.

Why go: Lady of Livingston hosts a weekly donation-based Zumba class. Admission is free with a donation of either cash or personal care items for LACASA, the Livingston County organization against domestic violence.

Why go: Every Saturday during the summer, Green Oak Village Place is partnering with SELCRA to bring you the Movie at the Mall experience. Movies start at dusk on the inflatable screen. Bring lawn chairs. This week enjoy Date Night.
