Motor City Comic Con, Michigan’s original comic convention, celebrates its 24th anniversary Friday to Sunday at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Attendees will be absorbed into comic culture when seeing and meeting comic icons, shopping for comic merchandise and checking out what's new in the artist alley. Brighton Bagger Dave's Celebrates Beer Week

Brighton customers visiting Bagger Dave’s during the week of May 13 -19 will receive the free gift after a $25 or more purchase after 8:30 p.m.

Bagger Dave’s in Brighton will be celebrating American Craft Beer Week next week with customers receiving a free pub glass. “Amazingly enough, the glass is reusable and will hold beverages other than American craft beer, too,” a Bagger Dave’s press release stated. “As if you’d ever want that to happen. It will be the envy of all of your friends.”  Brighton customers visiting Bagger Dave’s during the week of May 13 -19 will receive the free gift after a $25 or more purchase after 8:30 p.m.  The Brighton Bagger Dave’s opened in March 2011 with burgers at the heart of menu, and the top choice in Brighton being the Train Wreck, according to a previous report. Celebrating 25 years in business, Todd and Scott Spitler of Brighton Ford continue to run the business their father, Jerry, started in 1988. The Press & Argus reports that the two brothers, “third-generation car people,” credit the motto of “customers for life” for their good business and repeat customers.  “We were 22nd in the country last year for certified-used-car sales among all Ford dealers, and we were 47th in the country for new-car sales out of about 3,500 Ford dealers,” Todd Spitler said.
