In accordance with PA335 (of December 31, 1993), Brighton Area Schools is conducting two public hearings for the purpose of reviewing a proposed updated high school HIV/AIDS DVD for inclusion into our health program.
These hearings will take place Monday, May 9 and Monday, May 23.
Material presentation will be from 6:15-6:45 p.m. on both dates, with the public hearing being held as part of the regular Board of Education meeting starting at 7 p.m. in the board room at the Brighton Educational Community Center, 125 S. Church St., Brighton.

More About Brighton Educational Community Center
The Brighton Education Community Center (BECC) houses the Brighton Area Schools Administrative offices, as well as offices for the Southeastern Livingston County Recreation Authority, Livingston Educational Service Agency, and MI Works.
The BECC also houses The Bridge Alternative High School for Brighton Area Schools, a free full-day high school for students 14-19 who need additional support; and Brighton Adult Education classes that lead to GED. Twice a month, the board of education holds its meetings here.
