Several local Christian musicians will be presenting the first annual production of Child of the Promise for Livingston County and the surrounding areas.
The musical is being produced to bring the gospel of Christ out into our community as well as raising funds for Love INC of the Greater Livingston County Area.
It will be performed at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 at Hartland High School, 10635 Dunham Road, Hartland.
Child of the Promise is a Broadway-style musical that brings to life the complete story of the birth of Christ starting with the prophecy of the Old Testament to a proclamation of His eternal reign. Told through a rich tapestry of songs from the unique perspective of each of the major characters in the story, it speaks in a personal and penetrating way.

More About Hartland High School
Opened in 2003, Hartland High School has been called the “flagship” for the entire district. Sitting as part of a 200-acre site that includes Hartland Middle School and Creekside Elementary, the 400,000-square-foot building features an elevated indoor track, two gyms, a 500-seat auditorium and an Aquatic and Fitness Center that's open to the public. The $60-million facility also includes tennis courts and football, soccer, baseball and softball fields. Its principal is Chuck Hughes.
