Island Lake Recreation Area is 4,000 acres of trails, open brush, mature forest, beaches, lakes and ponds. Complete with a shooting range, volleyball courts, canoeing, shelters and camping, Island Lake is a bit more relaxed compared with Kensington Park, whose entrances are on opposite sides of the 96 Kensington Road Exit.
