Saturday August 25 at the Brighton Millpond SELCRA and the Downtown Development Authority is bringing Africa to the Millpond. Come see a large variety of exotic animals from around the world. Thiss will be more than just a show. You will learn about topics like threatened and endagered species, habitat destruction, and animal diversity. The entire show is hands-on and all spectators will get a chance to be a part of the show!

More About Mill Pond Park
Located in the heart of charming downtown Brighton, Mill Pond Park is the perfect place for a tranquil break from dining or shopping, or a scenic stroll in any season. An extensive walking trail includes paved areas and a wooden boardwalk that crosses scenic Mill Pond, which is full of water lilies in the summer and waterfowl all year long. A gazebo with natural bench seating is the site of free community performances in warmer months. The park also includes a giant, fenced-in wooden playscape for children of all ages, public restrooms, drinking fountains, benches, covered picnic table pavilion and numerous public sculptures.
