BHS seniors enjoy annual picnic

The Brighton High Senior Picnic has been a tradition for four years running, thanks to Principal Gavin Johnson.  Friday, May 31st, seniors made their Senior Walk after picking up caps and gowns and then made their way to the picnic.  A relaxed send-off to the graduating seniors, the hot dog picnic beside Leith Lake has become a special thank you to the departing class.

“This picnic is a nice tradition and it also creates a relaxing atmosphere to bond with the seniors on their last day of high school,” athletic director and principal John Thompson said.

Hot dogs were cooked by Superintendent Greg Gray and Director of Student Nutrition Richard Browder.  Hot dogs, chips and water were provided by the BHS PTO and desserts were donated by the BHS staff.
