Golden Hearts to gather at the annual fundraising event to support cancer education

SOMERVILLE, MA – (November 27, 2013) Cancer Research Simplified announced that it will hold the first annual ‘Golden Heart’ fundraiser on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the Emerald Lounge at 200 Stuart Street, Boston, MA. Early Bird tickets start at $15 per person. The organization will treat the guests to goodie bags to show its appreciation with complimentary organic wine provided for VIP guests. The event highlights entertainment with guest DJs and surprises. To purchase tickets, visit: http://www.cancerresearchsimplified.org/events.html

Proceeds support Cancer Research Simplified, a new, Somerville-based global non-profit that bridges the gap between cancer patients and cancer scientists by providing simplified information on cancer and the latest cancer research to cancer patients, their families, and the general public.

“We encourage guests to wear gold and yellow clothing and accessories at the event,“ said Ayguen Sahin, M.Sc., Ph.D. Founder and CEO of Cancer Research Simplified. “We have chosen Golden Heart as our event’s theme as we believe that everyone who supports our mission and is willing to give for a great cause has a golden heart. With this party event, we want to spread awareness of cancer treatment and prevention, especially for young people. We want to promote healthy diet and lifestyle to help prevent and fight cancer. It will be a fabulous opportunity to connect cancer patients and their families, cancer scientists, and supporters, all together for a great cause.”
