Save on Maple Tree Montessori Tuition and Help Protect Children

Maple Tree Montessori Academy of Brighton is donating a one-year preschool tuition to benefit LACASA’s child abuse programs and services. That means one local family will have the opportunity to enroll their child at Maple Tree Montessori Academy and help protect children at the same time.

LACASA’s CAP (Child Abuse Prevention) Council is offering the tuition through an on-line bidding process that has already begun and concludes at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 19. The tuition, for morning or afternoon preschool during the 2013 - 2014 school year, is valued at $4587 and is available for new enrollments only.

The minimum bid for the tuition is $2500, a savings of more than $2000. A “buy-it-now” price of $3500 is being offered. The first bid for that amount will automatically result in the sale of the tuition. If a “buy-it-now” bid of $3500 is not received by July 19, the tuition will go to the person submitting the highest bid of at least $2500 before 5 p.m. on that date.

According to Deanna Norris, CAP Council director, the Maple Tree tuition is being sold by LACASA and 100 percent of the proceeds will directly support child abuse prevention, intervention, treatment and advocacy programs in Livingston County.

“Since 2005, tuitions donated by Maple Tree Montessori Academy have raised more than $14,500 to support local programs designed to keep children safe,” Norris said.
