Cheers to National Margarita Day

Find out where to grab a salty, lime treat in Brighton.

Cheers!

Today is National Margarita Day - a day dedicated solely to celebrating the ingenious combination of tequila, triple sec and and lime.

According to the National Margarita Day website, there is much debate as to who is responsible for inventing the classic margarita, though it was invented sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. Frozen margaritas were invented later in 1970’s when an inventive bartender converted a soft serve ice cream unit into a frozen margarita machine.
