Live Bat Encounter at the Howell Nature Center

The Organization for Bat Conservation will be presenting a live bat show on June 25th at the Howell Nature Center. The Organization for Bat Conservation is dedicated to protecting bats, other wildlife, and the ecosystems they need to survive. All bats used in programs are either permanently injured animals or zoo animals and therefore are unreleasable. The programs are one of the most unique in the world, exhibiting such bats as endangered Rodrigues flying foxes, beautiful dog-faced bats, and many more. The show begins at 7 p.m. and the cost is $4 per child, adults are $6.
