Parent Appreciation Day at the Library

Brighton District Library and Child Connect for Family Success cohost a Parent Appreciation Day from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at the library.

The event, which is free and open to the public, includes entertainment for all ages and is sponsored by Great Start Livingston; it features a family concert at 2 p.m. with Zippity2dads.

 Featured on Fox2 television, Zippity2dads is a musical duo that provides catchy, upbeat lyrics and music for the young and the young at heart.

Refreshments, door prizes, storytelling, parenting information displays and more also are available throughout the day.

Parenting Awareness Month (PAM) celebrates the people who raise children; the event draws public attention to the critical importance of effective parenting in producing children who are healthy, caring, and contributing citizens.
