Featured YouTube Video: Polar Plungers

Check out this video of local residents braving frigid waters to raise money for the Special Olympics.

There's a lot of cool stuff going on in Brighton. Luckily, some of it is posted on YouTube.

Every once in a while, Brighton Patch will pick YouTube videos to feature. Today's pick is a video posted by user Wade Heinonen showing him and his brother, Danny, jumping into frigid waters during the Brighton Polar Plunge on Feb. 23 at Brighton High School.

The event was among 27 Polar Plunges conducted throughout Michigan this year to raise funds on behalf of about 19,000 Special Olympic Athletes.
