Meijer Skate Park Ice Rink Ready and Waiting for Cold Weather
Volunteers chipped in to help SELCRA build the ice rink in Brighton this week.
Many people came together this week to build the new Ice Rink at the Meijer Skate Park.
From SELCRA's Facebook page: "The construction of the Meijer Park Ice Rink would not have been possible without the help of the BP/Corrigan fueling the community grant and The Home Depot for their donations. Also the Brighton Rotary Raiders and all the volunteers! This was truly a community effort!"
SELCRA Director Derek Smith said all they need now is consistent cold weather. Once temperatures are consistent, the Brighton Area Fire Department will flood the rink.
