Polar Plunge Coming to Brighton in February

The Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics of Michigan will take place at 1 p.m. Feb. 23 behind Brighton High School.

Are you ready to take the plunge?

The Polar Plunge benefitting Special Olympics of Michigan will take place at 1 p.m. Feb. 23 behind Brighton High School.

You can register for the event at www.firstgiving.com/polarplunge Proceeds from these plunges help supports year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 18,600 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Michigan.

In the meantime, head to the Brighton Buffalo Wild Wings on Jan. 28 for Special Olympics Michigan Day and 10 percent of all meal purchases will be donated back to the Brighton Polar Plunge.
