Earth Day Craft: Upcycling

Turn an empty water bottle into a bird feeder with this easy craft.

Earth Day is today. I created this craft to incorporate several items and show children how to save energy, and how to upcycle (ooh la la, sounds so much cooler than re-use) materials.

In order to make the holes, I did not use the convenient (however battery-powered) drill. No, I hand drilled with a sharp object. I did sweat a little ...

Plus the whole thing should be incorporated in the garden, and help some animals, which it does.
