“One of the major themes of the musical is how to resolve conflict between best friends," said Gary Blackman, ArtsPower’s managing director. "A secondary theme involves the need of young people to feel accepted by their peers. Overall, the musical is fast-paced and a lot of fun for family audiences.”
The event is the last of four in the 2011 Children’s Cultural Series hosted by the City of Brighton Community Education Program, which aims to enrich the futures of area residents by providing diverse entertainment and educational opportunities.
