Viewfinder: Brighton High School Dance-A-Thon

BHS students dance for four hours straight, raising money for Mott Children's Hospital.

School spirit was in full swing as students cheered and moved to the beats of DJ Gary McLellan of Starflight Productions in the cafeteria of for the National Honor Society Dance-A-Thon on Thursday, March 24.

According to Co-Council Chair Christina Souchak, the event was set up to be a mini, four-hour version of the University of Michigan Dance Marathon, which lasts 30 hours.

Wearing yellow T-shirts, members of the National Honor Society managed to sell enough tickets and blue tees commemorating the Dance-A-Thon to collect $1,500 for Mott Children's Hospital, Souchak said.
