Viewfinder: Prom Fashion Show Style

Brighton High School's prom is set for May 14 at Crystal Gardens. To promote awareness and highlight the latest looks, Brighton High School students staged a Prom Fashion Show at the Brighton Center For The Performing Arts last month.

Hair and makeup was provided by Gina Agosta Hair Salon and corsages by Country Lane Flower Shop. The girls chose their own dresses, while the boys sported tuxes provided by Brighton Tux. Starbird Photography brought a gorgeous backdrop that was used for photos.

Raffle drawings were held throughout the show, with winners receiving prizes from Ciao Amici's restaurant gift certificates to photo packages from Starbird Photography.

Junior class advisors Stephanie Carroll and Jenny Kenger, coordinated and co-hosted the event, with vice president Lauren Gilardone assisting.

According to Carroll, the turnout was very good, and almost 200 prom tickets were sold, raising approximately $5,000 for the event.
