440 Main Open for Business

The new restaurant is currently open while waiting for final process for liquor license.

Relocating into the former Stone Fire Bistro location in downtown Brighton, 440 Main is currently open for business and serving lunch and dinner- although liquor is still not currently available.

“They did approve our liquor license, we’re just waiting on some things and we have to have our final walk-through,” 440 Main manager Kim Feldmann said.

Waiting for the final process on their liquor license, Feldmann explained that within the next few weeks the restaurant will have to close for a short period of time to allow for training and small re-design projects on the interior.

The restaurant is also still waiting for new sigange for the exterior of the building to arrive and be installed.

Feldmann estimates the closing will last between one to two weeks, but there is no timeframe yet on when it will occur since it will depend on the schedule of the representative from the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.

Training for staff on a new menu will include an all natural chicken and steak that will be added to the entrée selection, but Feldmann says pizza, a customer favorite from the Stone Fire menu, will remain available.
