Best Thing We Ate This Week: Bagger Dave's Legendary Burger

As one of Brighton's newest residents, I'm finally getting to know the people, the businesses and now it's time for my favorite part - getting to know the food.

So each week, I'll share my discoveries with Brighton Patch readers.

This week, my husband and I stopped for lunch at . It was our first time eating at the chain, and while looking over the menu, I saw something that really appealed to me:

"Your burger is like your fingerprint. No two are exactly the same. To go against your burger DNA is something the laws of nature won’t put up with, and neither will we here at Bagger Dave’s."

On each table in the restaurant is a 'Create Your Own Legend' checklist with all of the burger (and french fry) toppings a customer could want. I can't count the number of times I've ordered cheeseburgers then had to ask the server to hold extras like mushrooms or mayo. My husband and I quickly decided that was the way to go.

And I'm happy to report we made the right choice. It was one of the best burgers I've eaten in a long time! It was juicy and cooked just right, with all of my favorite toppings. The french fries were also amazing. I think we found our new favorite burger spot.
