Sparty Gala

Livingston County Spartans -- or Spartans at heart -- are invited to the second annual Sparty Gala, which takes place at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton.

This is a great opportunity to have dinner with fellow Spartans and get into the Spartan spirit. 

Suzy Merchant, MSU Women's Basketball Coach and the Big Ten Coach of the Year, as well as, Scott Westerman, MSU Alumni Association Executive Director, will be joining in the fun. 

This event is open to all Spartan supporters; alumni, friends of MSU and family. Dress is "dressy business casual or MSU attire."

This year's event includes a full buffet dinner, including wine and beer. The cost is $45/person. 

Entertainment will be provided by Lamocu Productions, with music by Rick and John. 

Last year we raised $3,000 through the silent auction that enabled us to sponsor four $750 textbook scholarships for incoming freshmen at MSU this fall.  We have set a goal to increase the scholarship fund 50 percent. 

Silent auction items include but not limited to the following; tickets to MSU football and basketball, Wharton Center w/State Room, several golf packages, jewelry including MSU Charms for Pandora and other MSU selections, wine baskets, tailgate baskets, autographed  memorabila (pictures, football, basketballs) by Take 2, and more.

Payment can be made through the web site on a credit card or you may send a check made payable to MSU Alumni Club of Livingston County and mail it to Jo Smith or Anne Parker.
