Corvettes Start Their Engines, Arrive in Garage Restaurant's Parking Lot: Northville’s Garage Grill & Fuel Bar will be hosting its first car show ever on Saturday, July 27, featuring many automobiles of the Corvette Legends Club. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., there is expected to be more than 15 Corvettes on display in the Garage parking lot, located at the corner of Wing and Main Streets in downtown Northville.

New Royal Oak Bistro Sure to Make a Splash with Shark Tank, Onyx Bars and More: A new Europeon-style restaurant—with an Italian tile façade, Spanish flooring and French bistro concept—is headed into Royal Oak this summer. The new bistro will serve "classic dishes in a café setting," and it could open by early September.

The Root Restaurant & Bar Honored by Oakland County: On Wednesday, July 17, 2013, Oakland County Commissioners honored one of the area’s outstanding restaurants presenting proclamations to The Root Restaurant’s owner Ed Mamou and Executive Chef James Rigato. The restaurant, located in White Lake, has brought its unique fresh special seasonal menu to Oakland County.

Yogurt Palooza Coming to Northville This Summer: Frozen yogurt fanatics will soon have another place to dip their spoons into the soft-serve dessert. Yogurt Palooza, Plymouth's self-serve frozen yogurt store, will open in downtown Northville under MainCentre Apartments, at the corner of Main and Center streets, by the end of the summer.
