Melodiya Dibrova Lake Music Camp

I am thrilled to post the updated registration form for the Melodiya - Dibrova Lake Music Camp
The camp this year will be from July 9th to July 13th. The morning session will be from 10:00 in the morning until 12:30 in the afternoon. It will include general music classes and instrumental lessons.
It will be split up into two age groups - children from 5 to 8 years of age and those 9 to 13 years of age.
The general music instruction will also include rhythm classes, recorder and an introduction on how to write music on a computer for the older age group.

►UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR REGISTRATION FORM AND DEPOSIT PAYMENT, YOU WILL BE SENT A CONFIRMATION PACKAGE. The confirmation package will include a Medical Form, Emergency Contact Form, Checklist of items to bring to camp, directions to camp, and Camp Rules.

INSTRUMENTS
Morning Session:
If you don't own a violin, violins may be rented at Shar Music at its Ann Arbor store at 2465 S. Industrial HWY, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104 - phone 734-665-7885. Violins may also be available for rental at other music stores in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area.
Afternoon Session:
Participants should bring their own instruments. String instruments may be rented at Shar Music www.sharmusic.com or other venues.

COST
Morning Session
Cost covers the tuition for the camp, which includes a registration fee of $80. Checks should be made payable to the Ukrainian Music Institute of America, Inc., Detroit Branch. The tuition for the Morning session is $330. The registration fee is nonrefundable and will be applied to the tuition for the camp. The balance is due upon arrival on Wednesday, July 9th at 9:30 in the morning. Students are to bring their own snacks. 
Afternoon Session:
The cost for the afternoon session is variable. It depends on the number of lessons and the duration of the lesson. The cost for a one hour lesson is $55, for a 45 minute lesson it is $40. The cost for chamber music (ensemble participation) is $45 per person per hour. 
The registration fee for the afternoon session is $65. The balance, depending on length and number of lessons or chamber music coaching, is due upon arrival at registration on July 9th at 2:30 p.m. 
DISCOUNTS:
There is a $20 discount per student for siblings and a $20 discount per student for registering by June 28th.



Guest Student Option:
Parents who would like their children to experience the camp but are not in a position to commit to the full five-day camp may sign their children up as guests on a per day basis. The charge per day will be $65.
