Motif Jewelers Grand Opening Event in Milford to Feature Local Charities, WDVD-FM’s Top-Rated Blaine & Allyson in the Morning

Local business and civic leaders and WDVD Radio’s popular Blaine & Allyson in the Morning team will be on hand for the grand opening of Motif Jewelers in downtown Milford on September 7.  The N. Main Street location, the retailer’s fourth in Michigan, officially opened July 5 and has generated significant buzz in the community. 

Representatives from the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Village of Milford, and the Chopjian family, owners of Motif Jewelers, will cut the ribbon at 12:30 p.m.  They’ll be accompanied by representatives from Milford’s own Community Sharing Outreach Center and the Carls Family YMCA, and 96.3 WDVD-FM, the retailer’s official Detroit-area media partner.  A store tour will follow the outdoor portion of the event.

“The new Motif Jewelers location is the latest example of our ongoing commitment to improving the retail jewelry shopping experience in Michigan,” said Eric Chopjian, director of operations for Motif Jewelers.  “We wish to thank those who made the development of our Milford location possible, as well as our valued clientele, whose response to our store redesign and product line upgrades exceeded our expectations.”

The location at 441 N. Main Street was the home of Milford Jewelers, which closed in June.  Owners Tamar Aguilar and Jack Chopjian, the sister and brother who are familiar faces to downtown Milford shoppers, remain with Motif Jewelers, the Taylor-based company owned by their brother, Toros.

The Chopjian family will donate a portion of the day’s sales to Community Sharing Outreach Center and the Carls Family YMCA.  Both agencies serve an outstanding community service purpose throughout the Milford area.

Motif Jewelers operates two stores at Southland Center in Taylor and a third at Grand Traverse Mall in Traverse City.  Celebrating its 30th year, Motif Jewelers has forged impeccable relations with prestigious national designers like Pandora, Ritani, and Kabana.  The Milford store also features Forevermark diamonds, and luxury Swiss timepieces from 88 Rue Du Rhone.
