Brighton Under Winter Storm Watch

Ready for more snow?

Forecasts call for between 2 and 4 inches in Brighton starting Thursday afternoon. According to aΒ hazardous weather outlook and winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service, a strengthening low pressure system will move into the southern Great Lakes region on Thursday.

The heaviest snow is expected Thursday evening, according to the weather statement. Total snowfall accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are possible. Visibilities under one quarter mile will be possible Thursday night.

Roads may become snow covered and slipperty, affecting the morning commute on Friday.
