Coach's Corner: Brighton Varsity Soccer Ties Ann Arbor Huron, Defeats Howell
Bulldogs work hard in back-to-back games.

Brighton tied Ann Arbor Huron Monday 1-1 in an extremely physical, hard-fought game. Brighton again outshot their opponent, Ann Arbor Huron, 12-5.
Goalie Jack Grant made one save for Brighton. Senior Forrest Chong scored from a Jordan Messick free kick in the 71st minute after Huron went ahead in the 70th minute.

On Tuesday, Brighton played its fifth game in seven days and beat Howell 3-0.Â
Brighton outshot Howell 23-2 and Brighton’s Goal Keeper Jack Grant recorded his fifth shutout of the season. Seniors Forrest Chong and Jordan Messick each had a goal and an assist, with Senior Logan Bush also scoring for Brighton.Â

Brighton is 5-0-3 overall and 3-0-0 in KLAA play. Brighton’s next game is Thursday at Hartland.
