Former Chamber of Commerce Among Four Brighton Buildings Demolished This Week
The other three buildings were vacant homes located on the corner of First and West Streets, behind Champs Pub.
Demolition began this week on the former building at 131 Hyne Street as well as three vacant houses on North Street, behind .
, an auto parts manufacturing company based in Brighton, will with a new downtown headquarters.Â
Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Executive Director Matt Modrack said both the Brighton Area Historical Society and Habitat for Humanity were able to walk through the building and take what they wanted before the demolition began.
