Good Morning Brighton

Here are five tidbits of news and information we hope you'll find useful or entertaining.

Twice a week, Brighton Patch will post a snapshot of something from around Brighton. Readers are asked to guess the location of where the picture was taken. It will be like a virtual tour guide of Brighton.

1. The weather

Today will be cloudy, with a 90 percent chance of snow showers, and a high near 25 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 15 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Monday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Winter Food Drive

Awesome Chiropractic is having a Winter Food Drive to benefit My Brothers Keeper Homeless Shelter in Flint.  New patients who bring in a non-perishable food item, receive a free chiropractic consultation and exam. 4. Bingo

Play bingo at 1 p.m. today at the Brighton Senior Center inside the Miller Intergenerational Center. There is a 50-cent drop-in fee; in addition, each bingo card is 25 cents.

5. Trivia
