Every Tuesday and Thursday, Brighton Patch will post a snapshot of something from around Brighton. Readers are asked to guess the location of where the picture was taken. It will be like a virtual tour guide of Brighton.

1. The weather

Today will be cloudy, with an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and a high near 73 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly rainy, with a 30 percent showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., and a low around 58 degrees.

will host its Messy Church today from 1-4 p.m. There will be crafts, games, stories and a snack. It is a time to get messy and have fun while learning about Jesus’ ancestors!
