2. Gasoline prices
Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Wednesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:
- Costco, 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd: $3.86
- Mobil, 9925 Spencer Rd: $3.91
- CITGO, 1050 E Grand River: $3.93
3. Bingo
Play bingo today at 1 p.m. at the Brighton Senior Center inside the Miller Intergenerational Center. There is a 50-cent drop-in fee; in addition, each bingo card is 25 cents.

4. BAS Bond Update Meeting
Greg Gray, Superintendent of Brighton Area Schools is hosting an informational meeting to discuss the Scranton Middle School bond update for 2012/2013. The meeting will be held tonight 7 p.m. at Scranton Middle School located at 8415 Maltby Road, Brighton, MI 48116.
