Twice a week, Brighton Patch will post a snapshot of something from around Brighton. Readers are asked to guess the location of where the picture was taken. It will be like a virtual tour guide of Brighton.
1. The weather
Today will be cloudy, with patchy fog before 10 a.m., a 30 percent showers after noon and a high near 56 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be cloudy, with a low around 40 degrees.
2. Gasoline prices
Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Monday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:
- Costco, 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd: $3.49
- Mobil, 9925 Spencer Rd: $3.53
- Meijer, 8650 W Grand River Ave: $3.53
3. Bingo
Play bingo at 1 p.m. at the Brighton Senior Center inside the Miller Intergenerational Center. There is a 50-cent drop-in fee; in addition, each bingo card is 25 cents.
4. Brighton Art Guild Art Harvest Show
Art Harvest, the Guild’s 7th Annual Juried Fine Art Exhibition, is open today at 9720 Village Place Blvd, between Kay Jewelers & The Loft, from 12-8 p.m.
