1. The weather

Rain is expected today with wind gusts as high as 31 miles per hour and a high near 42 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will bring rain and snow, becoming all snow after 1 a.m. with a low around 32 degrees. About one inch is expected to accumulate.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Monday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Jobseekers Workshop

The Brighton JobSeekers Networking Support Group Workshop will be held tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at in the Adult Faith Formation Center; Room B. 4. Tea Party Candidate Forum

A coalition of TEA Party groups, including Livingston County's Brighton Tea Party and RetakeOurGov are sponsoring a question and answer forum for candidates running for the U.S. Senate tonight Bakers, 2025 S Milford Rd in Milford.
